Some context going in before watching these videos:
This was my first time streaming a game on my laptop. Tomb Raider I was streaming on through my Xbox, since it was the only way I could capture the footage. So, why not do commentary too?
When I was doing my FIRST stream for this game, I had a lot of issues. Namely with trying to hear myself through the stream. I had the same headset I was using with the Tomb Raider streams. But for some reason, my headset mic was not working properly with my laptop and it was still using the mic built into it. My brother, Dan/deadman67797, could be heard just friggin fine, but I was completely inaudible.
Despite spending a lot of time trying to make myself heard, when I looked back at the footage... I could not hear myself say shit. The video was borked. That honestly killed me since we were having a good time with the game.
This time, I ditched the headset I'd used prior and connected my PlayStation Pulse headphones. The other night it didn't recognize it while I was trying to improve my audio, but this time it did. I took some proper time setting it up and making DAMN sure that I could hear myself. The results are a lot better, though I'm drowned out by the game's audio at times. But I can at least hear my words this time!
It's all a work in progress in the end and as I continue to work on these streams and making other content, stuff like this will continue to improve.
